Gentlemen, it’s that time of the year again. We will be starting new Over 60 season games in the next few weeks. The season should go on for about 3 months and we will take a few Sundays off to observe the usual holidays. See more details and rules below.

Registration and Rules
Registartion:
- All players must pay league fees* and present ID** before they will be allowed to take part in over sixty league’s competitive games.
- Signup and registration forms can be found here.
- Games will be starting at 8:30 AM and 10: 00 AM.
- Full-field 10 v 10 format (Goalkeeper, seven regular players and 2 special players).
- We will play 2 x 40-minute halves with 10-minute break.
- Players must take part in at least five games to be eligible for playoffs.
Special Players:
- Special players are club members over 65 years old who are in decent shape. ***
- There is no limit on the number of special players per team. But, only two can be used as ‘special’ in any given game. Everyone else will be treated as a regular player.
- All teams MUST declare the names of two special players to the league and referee before each game.
- Each special player must be allowed to play at least 40 minutes per game.
Underage players:
- Each team can have one under-age player, 59 or older.
- Goalkeepers must be over 49 years old.
- Underage players cannot switch teams without the league’s approval.
Game Rules:
- No sliding tackles will be allowed in the Over 60 leagues.
- Any player receiving a yellow card will be asked to leave the game for 5 minutes. Or at least one play if the subs are not available.
- All players must treat referees with respect. The altercation with club officials or referees will result in expulsion and all league fees will be forfeited.
- Any team or player who instigates a fight, or fights before, during, or after any game shall immediately be removed from the club without fee reimbursement.
- If a player receives a “RED” card during a game an automatic 1-game suspension will be enforced. In case of flagrant or professional foul the disciplinary committee could recommend 3-game suspension.
- A second yellow card during a single game is an automatic one game suspension.
- Disagreements and/or suggestions should be received by the captain before or after the game. Not during.
* League fees are $125 per season; uniforms are not included.
** No player will be permitted to participate in regular-season games until all the league’s requirements have been fulfilled.
*** Special player rule was created to protect older members who are not in their best physical condition, but still would like to participate in league activities.
